Make sure your marriage stays strong and satisfying.
Jean Fitzpatrick

Becoming parents is an incredible joy.  And yet it is also a real challenge to a marriage.
If you're like many New York couples, you have focused on school and work and travel and taking care of yourselves for quite a few years.  Everything's about to change!  Now is the time to focus on building a strong couple foundation so that you will be ready to balance baby and romance, creating a home where you and your new baby will thrive.  Research shows that not only do couples feel happier when their relationship is strong, but babies develop better emotionally and cognitively.

In pre-baby and postpartum marriage sessions you will learn practical ways to nurture your closeness on a daily basis.  Learn the techniques you need to work as a team as you face new responsibilities.  Learn to speak -- and listen -- from the heart about all the changes you are both experiencing and about your needs.  You can talk constructively about hot-button topics like sex, chores, sleep, work hours, career changes, values, and your need for personal time -- in fact, it's essential!
